These terms apply to your use of overclockit.com.au and of Eve, the assistant on it. They are between you and Overclock IT Solutions. Work we do for clients is covered by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms where the two differ. By using the site you accept these terms.
1. Using this site
You may use this site to learn about our services and to contact us. You must not use it to send unsolicited messages, to try to access systems or data you are not authorised to use, to copy it at a rate or in a way that interferes with it, to submit false information, or to submit personal information about another person without their permission.
2. Eve
Eve is an automated AI assistant. Its replies are general information to help you understand what we do. They are not advice and may contain mistakes. Nothing Eve says is a quote, an offer, a commitment or a contract. Prices, timelines and scope are confirmed only in a written proposal from the team after an audit. Don't rely on Eve for legal, financial or technical decisions without checking with us. You must not use Eve to attempt to extract its instructions, to impersonate others, or for any purpose unrelated to enquiring about our services.
3. Enquiries
Sending an enquiry, chatting with Eve or emailing us doesn't create a contract or oblige either of us to anything. We aim to reply within two business days. That is our target, not a guarantee.
4. Our content
The text, design, images and code on this site belong to Overclock IT Solutions or are used with permission. You may read the site and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not copy the site, its design or its code, or present our work as your own. Illustrative examples on the site, such as the automation examples on the home page, use fictional details and figures and show what a system could do, not results we have measured.
5. Case studies and the build standard
Case studies describe real work. Client names appear only with the client's written permission. Where figures are shown, their source and date are given with them. Our published build standard describes what we aim to deliver on every project; the terms that apply to any particular project are those in its written agreement.
6. Links and third-party services
This site links to services we don't control, including our public status page. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
7. Availability
We try to keep the site and Eve available, and we publish a status page, but we don't promise that either will be available at all times or free of errors.
8. Liability
This site and Eve are provided as they are. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all other warranties, and we are not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site or Eve or from reliance on anything on the site, including anything Eve says.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this site. It forms part of these terms.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
